Migrants and Muslims at Guantanamo: A history of demonization, social control and resistance. Online event. The legacy of detention and brutality, starting with Haitians, then Muslim men, and now fleeing migrants. Register beforehand.

January 9 is the 8,400th day Guantanamo Prison has held Muslim men. Photograph yourself with the flyer (or its image on your computer screen) and send it to Andy with your name (andyworthington87@gmail.com). And if you’re attending a J11 vigil, print out the poster and photograph people holding it. Email the photos to Andy, with their names if they’re willing, so he can post them on the Guantanamo Clock website.
