Advocates of closing Guantánamo often face a great deal of doubt and opposition, most of which has to do with questions about the men’s innocence, and whether or not torture was actually practiced at the detention center. During the week of Guantánamo’s 15th anniversary, we wrote and edited this video featuring six members of the US military who formerly worked at the prison to show the public what they have to say about their time there.
Featuring: Colonel Morris Davis (former Chief Prosecutor at Guantánamo), James Yee (former chaplain at Guantánamo), Daniel Lakemacher, Brandon Neely, Albert Melise, and Chris Arendt (former Guantánamo guards).
Music: Julia Kent
