The Expert Panel (Guantanamo 18 Years Later: Witnessing and Resisting Our Carceral Society) included organizers from communities targeted by for incarceration by the U.S. who connected the dots between Guantanamo and Islamophobia, Japanese internment during WWII and mass incarceration.
